As diesel-powered vehicles become more popular in the U.S., automakers like Volkswagen are expanding their diesel version vehicles into North America.  Diesel power for vehicles has been wildly popular for years in many European countries, and the benefits are undeniable.  Not only are diesel vehicles more fuel-efficient and less harmful to the environment, but more powerful as well.

For example, the new VW Golf in Tacoma has a TDI version.  The 2013 Volkswagen Golf TDI has a range of 609 miles on one fill-up and has a highway fuel rating of 42 MPG.  It has several standard features that are not available on other cars until higher trim models, as well.  Some of these features include Bluetooth hands-free calling and heated front seats.

The new Golf TDI is offered in both three-door and five-door styles, which gives the car more versatility in what it offers.  It can now just as easily please a family as a couple or single person.
