The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing Coupe Black

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing Coupe Black Series Edition is already so high-performing, it’s barely street legal.  Recently, we found out that the engineers and creators at Mercedes are working on newer and even better-performing version of the race car.

Though the newest version has not been officially released, and the only time we’ve seen pictures have been the spy shots taken during testing on Nurburgring Nordschleife test track, some information is known about the race car.  The newest SLS AMG Gullwing Coupe Black Series will be powered by a 6.3 liter V8 providing around 650 horsepower and 479 lb ft of torque.  This will probably give the car a 0-60 time of around 3.8 seconds and a top speed of about 185.

As for the exterior materials and styling, the newest edition will be equipped with a wider body kit and carbon fiber panels.  We should see an extra speed or two on the transmission and an update steering and braking system.
