Hyundai Reaches New Milestone

Hyundai Motor Company reached a new milestone this past week when it sold its one-millionth vehicle within the Australian market.  These celebrated vehicle was a Hyundai ix35 turbo diesel SUV and was bought in Perth.  Records indicate that it was sold at the same dealership which boasts the very first Hyundai sale for the entire country.

“We’re delighted that that the millionth new Hyundai was sold in the same city where it all began back in 1986,” said Oliver Mann, Hyundai’s Marketing Director. “We will be sending our one millionth customer something special to share in our celebrations.”

For the past few years, the Hyundai Motor Company has nothing to complain about when it comes to sales.  The auto manufacturer has outsold itself and broke records for 13 consecutive fiscal quarters; over three years worth of fiscal quarters.  This is, at least in part, thanks to the sales of the Hyundai Accent, which is one of the best-selling vehicles in the world.
