The 2013 VW Passat offers a versatile engine lineup, including a five-cylinder option, a V6 and four-cylinder turbodiesel.  It’s currently the only model in its class to offer a diesel engine option which has 40 MPG capabilities.  Buyers can also choose from four different transmissions: two manuals, one automatic and one automated manual.

In their article of the new Nissan Altima in Tacoma, USNews states, “Reviewers praise the Altima for being a practical sedan that offers some excitement behind the wheel. The CVT is a strong point, receiving lots of positive comments from reviewers for its immediate power delivery and smooth operation.”

For 2013, Cadillac made some interior enhancenents, as well as some upgrades to the base and optional features.  For example, the SRX now comes with Cadillac’s infotainment system CUE.  This system is touchscreen usable and voice-command activated.  It even registers certain hand gestures so the driver does not have to concentrate on touching the screen while driving.

Overall, the new Pathfinder weighs less, making it easier to drive and more fuel-efficient.  It also has more refined curves and a more aggressive yet sleeker overall look.  The interior is the best part, however, with the feel of a luxury vehicle as opposed to a premier non-luxury SUV.

Now, Jeep is bringing back the Cherokee, but unlike any you’ve ever seen before. This new Jeep in Tacoma is a sleek crossover SUV with plenty of capability. It takes its new design cues from the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but has a style all its own, and one that will ensure high sales numbers.

The new Jeep Cherokee will be available in four trim level: Latitude, Limited, Sport and Trailhawk. The Trailhawk trim is something new from Jeep and is geared towards the driver who likes to take their sporty SUV through some of the roughest terrain around.

“Truck owners have been emphatically asking for it, and Ram will be the only manufacturer to offer a diesel powertrain in the half-ton segment with the 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel,” Fred Diaz, chief executive of Ram Truck Brand, told media in a statement.

This diesel-powered Ram 1500 will go on sale sometime this summer for next year’s model year. Not only do diesel engines burn cleaner and are more fuel-efficient, but they offer more power for the same amount of engine size. Expect over 400 lb ft of torque.

With a starting price of only $24,500, it’s amazing what the new Scion FR-S in Tacoma offers. this high-ranking roadster is powered by a surprising four-cylinder engine, providing 200 horsepower and 151 lb ft of torque, while offering 30 MPG capabilities. The new Cadillac in Tacoma will not have the new ELR will not appear this year. Fortunately, this gives the ELR more time to perfect the braking recharge system and lighten the electric motors that will power Cadillac’s electric vehicle.

The exterior of the Cadillac ELR looks very similar to the new Cadillac CTS coupe style, with swooping lines and aggressive front fascia. The interior may be almost the same, as well, but with more technology and displays. It will be necessary for the driver to be able to monitor not only the amount of charge on the battery, but also its recharge.
