Dodge RAM Pickup Named Truck of the Year
Four Wheeler magazine recently named the Dodge Ram 1500 ‘Pickup Truck of the Year’, directly on the heels of the Ram 1500’s big win as the ‘North American Truck/Utility of the Year’. The auto experts at Four Wheeler chose the 1500 as superior to other finalists in trail and highway performance, interior design and layout, exterior design and engine performance vs. fuel efficiency.
“We are honored to have the 2013 Ram 1500 in the winner’s circle of Four Wheeler Magazine’s Pickup Truck of the Year,” Fred Diaz, President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler, told media. “This award truly shows the capability and durability that Ram’s new half-ton truck delivers, including best-in-class 25 MPG fuel economy, an exclusive air suspension, eight-speed transmission and a new interior with our next-generation Uconnect® system.”
Fortunately the new Ram 1500 in Tacoma has been “significantly revised” for the 2013 model year, or it would have not qualified for this high honor.
