Cadillac has new poster sedan

Larson Automotive Group found out about the Cadillac XTS Platinum in 2010 at the Detroit Auto Show. In Detroit it was a simple concept design, but in November in LA we’ll finally get to see the final version. Count on the XTS replacing the STS and DTS as Cadillac’s sedan of choice when it shows up in spring.

Perhaps the pinnacle of changes in the XTS is the CUE infotainment system of Cadillac’s. While the ATS and SRX both will eventually have the CUE, the XTS will be seeing it first. Your guess is as good as ours as to the engine Cadillac will be using, but there is some speculation that it might be a turbocharged version of GM’s 2.5 liter inline-4, at 300 HP. If this is the case then it would be a downgrade from what we saw in Detroit last year, but hopefully they’ll go with something more powerful.
